I know its a licensed program but they already have it available in debian apt- get and as rpm's for redhat so why no support for gentoo? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Need an ebuild to reproduce the aptget functions from debian Actual Results: Not Available Expected Results: emerge joltid-peercache the current debian install is at http://www.joltid.com/index.php/peercache/user_guide/installation
Nothing doing till you tell us what exactly this damned thing is. Please reopen when you have some more info.
Cache like Squid however not for HTTP its for KAZAA and other PEER2PEER programs only 2 programs like it are made both are licensed but joltid seems to be the easiest since its been ported to aptget already and the other company requires multiple servers and all kinds of stuff.... so thats what it is a Peer2Peer caching server
thanks for that info :)
any luck with porting this or status on it?
Reopen if you have an ebuild. Meanwhile, marking LATER.
I'd like to take a look at this and see how it differs from ghostwhitecrab (which is just gnutella).
