Comment 3 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-04-12 16:59:24 UTC
your GL is screwed up

try running `opengl-update`

has nothing to do with crack-attack
Comment 4 gad.kadosh 2005-04-12 20:10:21 UTC
There is no reason why my opengl would be screwed up. I'm using ati open source drivers with xorg-x11 (included drivers), and they work very well with other games, e.g. bzflags.
Just in case I tried 'opengl-update xorg-x11', and still emerge crack-attack fails.
Comment 5 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-13 04:23:24 UTC
gui_main.cxx:27:21: GL/glut.h: No such file or directory

SpanKY is correct... something is not right with your opengl setup
Comment 6 gad.kadosh 2005-04-13 09:58:25 UTC
Well, what can be wrong with an opengl setup, and even more - an opengl setup that works perfectly with other software?

At least tell me what should I look for... ?
Comment 7 gad.kadosh 2005-04-13 12:25:10 UTC
recompiling gle + glut + opengl-update seems to have fixed whatever issue it was.
Comment 8 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-13 20:39:05 UTC
That file is owned by media-libs/glut (or freeglut) and never touched by opengl-update. Apparently it got somehow deleted, but we have no way of tracking that down and it's not obvious.
