In all ebuilds: LICENSE="GPL-3 LGPL-3" The licensing in the GIMP sources is sloppy (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GNOME/gimp/master/LICENSE) and implies that GIMP is GPLv3-only and libgimp is LGPLv3-only, but it's actually: GPLv3+ and LGPLv3+ https://www.gimp.org/docs/userfaq.html#whats-the-gimps-license-and-how-do-i-comply-with-it gimp --license: GNU Image Manipulation Program version 2.10.32 GIMP is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
Thanks for report. Yes, as related to https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/blob/master/desktop/org.gimp.GIMP.appdata.xml.in.in (line 14) the project licence is actually "GPL-3.0+ AND LGPL-3.0+" and this info is updated on 22 Dec 2015.
