Description David Masover 2005-03-24 21:55:21 UTC
gpgme is depended on by thunderbird for building enigmail, when gpg is in USE
When updating my system, I noticed a gpg command run from within the gpgme ebuild was whining about "permission denied". So I ran it again with FEATURES="sandbox -userpriv" and it worked.

I'm not sure how to change the ebuild to fix this, but it should be trivial. At the very least, a simple test could refuse to even try to install with FEATURES="userpriv", and inform the user about the bug.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

workaround that should be included into the ebuild:
mkdir /var/tmp/portage/homedir/.gnupg

what is your full emerge info? does this only apply with FEATURE=test? which
gpgme version are you talking about?

dup of bug #86518 or bug #69489?
Comment 3 David Masover 2005-05-24 14:22:57 UTC
It's been awhile since I tried this. I did not have FEATURE=test.

So, it may be fixed now, maybe not, I don't care right now.

k - someone can reopen it with the needed info if they come across it again.
