ROPgadget (bug #865149) and capstone (bug #865151) fail tests on ppc64.
I added ppc64 support upstream (https://github.com/JonathanSalwan/ROPgadget/commit/c4b79d1de4f2f7c7b4a8c66b8941cba79f30b033). With it, I can successfully run ROPGadget on ppc64le box. I can see that you're on BE, while I'm on LE. That could be the reason, but unfortunately on Gentoo ppc64 and ppc64le are keyworded the same way.
