The current kernel contains a bluez-patch that has protocol switching support disabled. This renders devices such as the Logitech diNovo Media Desktop partially useless (works only in limited boot-protocol mode). A new version of the -mh patch was just posted on bluez.org, fixing this problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.11-r4 2.Connect diNovo Set 3.Run hidd from commandline -> boot-protocol
So you suggest that we do what? Include the newer patch in gentoo-sources?
Yes, that was my idea, any objections?
The patch is too big to include. Can you point us at a smaller patch which addresses this issue and no others?
Need split-out patches before I will consider this.
