Running 2.6.11-gentoo-r5 with all the revelant i2c built on a PII450mhz. I've sync'd, then emerge'd em8300-libraries, then tried to emerge em8300-modules, failed with these errors. Ended up getting the 0.15.0 cvs source from dxr3.sourceforge.net, worked fine.

Please test em8300-modules-0.15.0_pre20050310. 0.15 will soon be out.
Comment 4 Anders Rune Jensen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-19 11:15:53 UTC
If this bug is still relevant please try the latest version 0.15 in portage. If
it doesn't work then please post the output of 'emerge info'.
