I've spoken with Mark on IRC and started setting him up:

Done:
o Email (halcy0n@gentoo.org)
o Access to dev.gentoo.org (user: halcy0n)
o CVS access (user: halcy0n)
o Bugzilla account switched over (halcy0n@gentoo.org)

Need doing:
o @ops in #gentoo-dev (user Halcy0n)
o gentoo-core subscription (halcy0n@gentoo.org)
o Roll-call
o Switch over his forums account (Halcy0n)
o Introduction
Comment 6 Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-08 21:49:41 UTC
I've prepared more of Mark's access:

Done:
o @ops in #gentoo-dev (Thanks to iggy)
o Roll-call (add halcy0n)

Need doing:
o gentoo-core subscription (halcy0n@gentoo.org)
o Switch over forums account (Halcy0n) - can do later
o Introduction

Can someone please add halcy0n@gentoo.org to -core?

All done.
Comment 15 Christian Heim (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-27 10:01:07 UTC
Mark still isn't completely retired (at least halcy0n@gentoo.org is still subscribed to gentoo-core). Also he's listed in several docs with his @gentoo.org adress

$ grep -Rn --color "halcy0n" * | awk -F ":" '{ print $1 }' | sort -u
en/base/x86/arch-testers-faq.xml
en/base/x86/at.xml
en/base/x86/chroot.xml
en/council/meeting-logs/20060209.txt
en/council/meeting-logs/20060309.txt
en/council/meeting-logs/20060420.txt
en/devrel/roll-call/userinfo.xml
en/devrel/user-relations/gentoostatus/index.xml
en/glep/glep-0048.html
en/glep/glep-0048.txt
en/pr/press/press-coverage.xml
en/qa/devmanual.xml
en/userrel/gentoostatus/index.xml
es/base/x86/arch-testers-faq.xml
es/base/x86/at.xml
es/base/x86/chroot.xml
it/base/x86/arch-testers-faq.xml

And according to userinfo.xml he is still 'active' :)

Nope, he's not subscribed to any list, and his status in ldap is set to retired. So devrel needs to update the page if thats the case. No idea what the policy is on docs. You'd have to ask the doc team about that.

Actually, he's marked as a no-mail subscriber to -core. And yes, I really need to catch up on userinfo.xml.

Ah, I didn't even check the no-mail subscribers. Its in a different location than the regular ones. We don't have any other people setup like that do we?
Comment 19 Bryan Østergaard (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-28 06:53:33 UTC
Nope, halcy0n is quite special :)

Since I did author a lot of the stuff above, it'd be nice to keep my name there. :) You can either get rid of the email or put my permanent one mark@halcy0n.com.
Comment 21 Xavier Neys (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-18 15:46:53 UTC
FYI, as far as GuideXML docs are concerned, the credits remain. The roll-call is used to either replace the @gentoo.org email with the first non-gentoo email listed in the roll-call or no email, but the name and the credit remain.

kloeri: where were any pending actions needed from infra on this bug?

Only thing missing is that he's still a nomail -core subscriber.
Comment 24 Robin Johnson archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2007-03-11 18:28:18 UTC
Removed from nomail now, and script improved to check for people on digest and nomail portions.
Comment 25 Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-10 20:55:02 UTC
So, I think its been long enough of a break from Gentoo and I'd like to come back. The areas I'd like to be involved with to begin with are:

* toolchain
* qa
* gcc-porting

Since I wrote the QA GLEP, I know I can't join the team immediately, so I'll just do some work from outside the team to begin with.

vapier said he would mentor me.
Comment 26 Mike Doty (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-10 21:08:30 UTC
don't think infra is needed here...

And now reviewed. Done:
LDAP
userinfo.xml
-core
bugzilla
cvs/svn groups on cvs.gentoo.org
IRC-cloak (requested)
announcement
#gentoo-dev channel access

What you need to do:
- subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address
- request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to
forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count)
- add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org )
  see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org
- ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to
join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so
- set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where
  exactly you are located

reopen if anything is missing or just contact me via IRC

Hey guys,

Its definitely that time to retire me. I haven't done anything in at least a solid year and don't see that changing. Its been fun.
