Does this happen with any mail, or just with particular e-mails?
Please also provide the output of `emerge --info`.
What happens is I can click on the folders and see mail within them. I try to click on any email and it crashes. If I try to click "email" to write an email it also crashes. Oh and one other thing will also crash it. In the prefrences it will crash if you choose theme or toolbars.

Looks like this debian bug: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=246182
Can you start sylpheed with "sylpheed-claws --debug &> debug.log" and attach the resulting debug.log here?
Created attachment 54177 [details] debug.log debug.loog
I will post a copy of my debug log soon. I've been very busy having reciently moved, and am in school, as well a close friend became ill and suddenly died. My apologies for not getting back to you guys sooner. In the meantime I've been using regular sylpheed because I needed something to read my mail.
ok, please reopen once you (or anyone else who can reproduce it) have it.
