Description Jonathan Rogers 2002-09-18 04:54:23 UTC
I have modified the ebuild for lilo-22.3.3 slightly to apply the evms patch.
This allows lilo to boot a kernel on a filesystem on an evms volume. The reason
it's lilo 22.3.1 is because there isn't an evms patch for the newest version yet.

evms patch from sourceforge

This patch needs to be in the files subdirectory of the directory where the
ebuild is. It is from sourceforge.net/projects/evms

*lilo-22.3.3 (3 Sep 2002)

no offense man, but you've completely wasted your time, and mine
for submitting this...

as you can see, lilo-22.3.3 was put into the portage tree on Sep 3,
on Sep 18 you submit an *older* lilo with a patch. why?

dude -- this stuff was already in lilo-22.3.3, so i dont know why
you went through that futile excercise :)

please see this:

needless to say, just install the latest ebuild in portage,
and you will have the EVMS support you desire.

thanks anyway...
