Comment 1 Alexander Jenisch 2005-01-26 10:04:53 UTC
hmm... i've tried to turn off the faad support by adding "-faad" to my useflags, but it's still being compiled. how do i find out, what package is installed, and has depends on faad2?
Comment 2 Alexander Jenisch 2005-01-26 10:46:17 UTC
i've found, that the "mpeg" use flag in mplayer triggers the dependency of faad2, while "faad" does nothing at all.
Comment 3 Konstantin Arkhipov (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-30 10:01:51 UTC
i can't reproduce it
please, try to update (or reemerge) your gcc
Comment 4 Alexander Jenisch 2005-01-30 12:46:10 UTC
are you sure, you're doing this on an amd64? i've tried to recompile... same thing.
Comment 5 Jan Brinkmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-04-02 20:44:37 UTC
same over here, can't reproduce that problem
Comment 6 Alexander Jenisch 2005-04-03 04:21:46 UTC
k. problem's resolved. tried again after some weeks (some updates) and a switch to 2005.0.
