LOG: postinst If you are upgrading from a previous kernel, you may be interested in the following document: - General upgrade guide: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Kernel/Upgrade I think "Preparing to unpack" and "Copying sources" are not so important to be logged there. Probably einfo could be used for them Thanks
