I just fixed gcc-11 issues on flmsg, but I don't see an upstream commit addressing fldigi. I tested that dropping the existing patch and adding "append-cxxflags $(test-flags-CXX -std=c++14)" does fix the bug for both gcc-11 and gcc-10 still works. Not sure if anybody has a cleaner solution ready.

Rich, thanks for the helpful info. I can confirm that it works for using GCC as your compiler suite. Things are looking not so good for CLANG. Needs more work.
