ghostscript from easysw, updated.
Created attachment 3823 [details] ghostscript-7.05.5.ebuild Note that this does not include the lxm3200 item
I have committed ghostscript-7.05.5 to portage. It is currently masked. Please test the ebuild and report back on this bug with your experience. This ebuild was modified to remove the unneeded lexmark comments, added gimp- print, omni, and IJS support to the ebuild.
This ebuild is working great for me. I haven't been doing physical printing, but I've been doing a variety of different file conversions. The ghostscript-7.05.3-r1 ebuild didn't include the bbox device for some reason, which is why I decided to try the new one. Thanks.
Please adjust the deps so i don't need to install gnome-libs *shiver*.. gimp-print is a new dependency, which wasn't in the previous one, but i think it's obsolete.
Works great for me. I have no Lexmark printer, but a Canon S450. For this printer I need gimp-print[-cups]. At least, it didn't worked without it: no output at all. I print via CUPS to a Samba print-server, so all the ghostscript processing (rastering) has to be done on my machine. For a test, I have printed in different resolutions, everything is fine now :-)
ghostscript-7.05.5 has been released into portage. Enjoy!
