dvdread is reported as a 'local' flag, but seems to be used by different ebuilds with the same meaning:

/usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc:media-video/mplayer:dvdread - Enables usage of Ogle's libdvdread rather than mpdvdkit for DVD playback
/usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc:media-video/transcode:dvdread - Enables usage of Ogle's libdvdread rather than mpdvdkit for DVD playback
/usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc:media-video/vlc:dvdread - Enables usage of Ogle's libdvdread for DVD playback

I think this should make it a 'global' flag.

there are not enough packages which could benefit from this global useflag. marking as LATER
