Actually this is a wrong:   
   
The emerge _seems_ to go well. But the installed file does not work. E.g. the  
simple example on   
http://symaxx.sourceforge.net/Installation_Instructions/GCL_Installation.html  
does not work.

I just tried the ebuild from Bug 6947. And it works. So this bug can be solved 
if the ebuild from Bug 6947 is adopted.

#6947 is resolved and so is this one. Closing.
