Description Kyle 2002-09-01 17:18:26 UTC
The cupsomatic filter distributed with the cups-1.1.5-r2 portage ebuild seems to
be different than the one available from linuxprinting.org. It caused some
problems setting up my Samsung ML-1210 printer (which is a funky semi-GDI
"winprinter"). Of course, there may be reasoning why it was modified, but one
major feature is also missing - the ability to do "-o=docs" with lp and have it
spit out a printer capabaility page. With debugging turned on, it says
"docs=true option not found" or something like that.

cant say im immediately familiar with cupsomatic at all, im afriad.

any more information would be appreciated. wheres the URL to the (proper?)
script and what kind of a diff (1) are we talking about?

i might be mistaken but maybe Bevin added that to CVS.

I'll fix it if I can get more-of-the-skinny on the whole schmealio here... ;)
