Looks like dvisvgm have made a couple of releases. I have copied ebuild from 2.7 to 2.9.1 and it seems to install and work. At least, it allows `asy -f svg` to run. https://github.com/mgieseki/dvisvgm/blob/2.9.1/NEWS A quick glance at the news reveals, among other changes: (in 2.9 section) - updated bundled xxHash library to version 0.7.3 (in 2.8 section) - added support for Ghostscript 9.50 - updated potrace to version 1.16 - updated xxHash to version 0.7.2 - updated gtest to 1.10 (not sure whether potrace and xxHash versions are even relevant, because dvisvgm bundles them?) Also, upgrading to dvisvgm-2.9.1 apparently fixed this annoying behaviour for me: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/547995/ (it was introduced with Ghostscript 9.50, it seems).
