This is an auto-filed bug because sys-libs/libxcrypt fails tests.
The issue was originally discovered on amd64, but it may be reproducible on other arches as well.
If you think that a different summary clarifies the issue better, feel free to change it.

4.4.16 fails the same for me. 4.4.17 seems to work fine. Upstream changed `symbols-static` test a few times. Let's declare it obsolete.
