Output of emerge --info media-video/smplayer media-video/mpv media-video/mplayer

When attempting to use mpv with media-video/smplayer-18.6.0, the seek bar stays stuck at zero, as do the time elapsed and total video length; attempting to resume the video after pausing it also fail. This error is not present in the masked media-video/smplayer-19.10.2, nor does the issue present itself when using mplayer.

Upstream has a similar bug listed(https://sourceforge.net/p/smplayer/bugs/933/), but it seems to either not be included or not apply to the current ebuild.

Does the patch for 19.5.0 work here too, I wonder?

Fixed in recent releases.
Oldest version in gentoo is media-video/smplayer-20.4.2
Please close.
