Version 2.6.1 is the latest stable one and was released in September 2019. A second important matter is the existing ebuild's lack of Python 3.7 support. I maintain the automx2 Gentoo package which requires Python 3.7 or higher, and the upcoming feature release introduces LDAP support, requiring ldap3 >= 2.6.
Old version removed. Please reopen if you can repro with the newer versions.
