Request version bump from media-radio/cqrlog-2.3.0-r1 to new version media-radio/tqsl-2.4.0. The new version is recently available. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: New version media-radio/cqrlog-2.4.0 to be available via portage in Gentoo Linux.
Is it rude to ping? This version bump request has been in for 7 months.
Also, when bumping the revision, the database refactoring patch should be removed: epatch "${FILESDIR}/${PV}-database-connection-refactoring.patch"
I also request a version-bump (current version is 2.4.0 at the time of my commenting) Developer(s) state, in Message #6, that 2.3.0 is too old to support: https://www.cqrlog.com/node/2341
I think former maintainer rich0@gentoo.org of this package is dropping maintainance support for hamradio software. I recall once we had a e-mail contact that he said to just file a bug for a version bump request. I had several request for version bump but no one is handling it (anymore). I guess he is busy with other things (python, kernel bin). I hope tomjbe will take care of this package and all the other pacakges for hamradio.
(In reply to Teun Blok from comment #4) > I think former maintainer rich0@gentoo.org of this package is dropping > maintainance support for hamradio software. Nope, but I am dropping maintenance of this package. I realize that it is popular, but it is on the more complex side and I haven't really gotten much use out of it. Hopefully somebody will end up being interested. I don't necessarily mind helping to commit ebuilds if they meet all the standards/etc.
The version 2.4.0 is now available in the gentoo repository.
