I could not find anything about how to add/suggest new packages for Gentoo, so I
try this here ...

I found a Gnome2 theme that is not yet available for Gentoo: 
http://www.lucidus.uklinux.net/index.php?themes=gtk2&themeid=235

I modified the zip file and created an .ebuild to install it.

One error in the .ebuild is the package source, not sure how to deal with that
(I just put the file in distfiles to test the build)

if the package gets placed on the gentoo mirrors one could probably use a
simple skeleton .ebuild like the one used for gtk-engines-metal
