Hi,

sys-process/audit-2.8.4 refers to /var/run:

/lib/systemd/system/auditd.service:PIDFile=/var/run/auditd.pid
/etc/init.d/auditd:pidfile='/var/run/auditd.pid'
/etc/audisp/plugins.d/af_unix.conf:args = 0640 /var/run/audispd_events
/usr/libexec/initscripts/legacy-actions/auditd/state:state_file="/var/run/auditd.state"
