when updatin from wxgtk 2.4.1-r1 from wxgtk 2.4.2-r3 , it unmerges /usr/lib/libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0 and /usr/lib/libwx_gtk-2.4.so which are symlinks but the /usr/lib/libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0.0.0 which is the binary isnt unmerged

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge wxgtk
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
maybe problems with applications

Expected Results:  
unmerge older libraries

What version of portage were you using when you upgraded (post 'emerge info' please)? The reason I ask is ebuilds themselves don't do anything about removing previous versions, thats the job of portage.

wxgtk 2.4.1-r1 has been removed from portage and I can't duplicate this behavior. If anyone else has this problem, please feel free to re-open this.
