The PCMCIA "howto" doucment in the forums state that, if you wish to use the 
kernel version of the WaveLan driver rather than the pcmcia-cs version, but 
still use other pcmcia-cs modules, you can add +wavelan to the USE variable. 

I didn't see wavelan in the USE variable documentation.
