Description Acorn Pooley 2004-10-03 04:06:21 UTC
On the Universal LiveCD the entry in /etc/pcmcia/config was commented out and "more info needed" was stated.
I got it working by adding this entry:
card "AmbiCom AMB8110 Fast Ethernet"
version "AmbiCom,Inc.", "Fast Ethernet PC Card(AMB8110)
    bind "axnet_cs"

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Use Universal LiveCD to install on a laptop with an AmbiCom AMB8110 pcmcia 10/100 ethernet card
2.
3.

Actual Results:
could not config ethernet card until entry was added to /etc/pcmcia/config (see
bug "Details")

Expected Results:
detect the card

See "Details" for suggested solution.

I'll check it out. Are you willing to be a tester?

I'm assigning this to mobile@ since it is an issue with pcmcia-cs more than the LiveCD.
