It's customary to name the version.

FYI Casacore 2.4.1 builds using the same ebuild as of version 2.3.0-r1, without the 2.3.0 patches. Also, for successful build I use python 2.7 system-wide (using eselect tool), otherwise I hit the bug 624222. This bug occurs for both versions 2.3.0 and 2.4.1 of casacore.
