net-im/gaim/gaim-0.59-r2.ebuild can emerge and work fine, but for korean I should change gaim-0.59-r2.ebuild a little, for using another korean patch. original gentoo-ppc have gaim korean patch but it wouldn't work with msn korean friendly name so I using another korean patch gaim-0.59-i18n.diff from http://www.debian.or.kr/~alee/patches/ and change in gaim-0.59-r2.ebuild use nls && patch -p0 < ${FILESDIR}/${P}-korean.patch to use nls cd ${S} patch -p0 < ${FILESDIR}/gaim-0.59-i18n.diff Anyway original gaim-0.59-r2.ebuild work fine with english.
Sorry for the long delay getting back to you, but I haven't been able to add packages due to the freeze for gentoo 1.4. I tried to use the patch for the current version gaim-0.59.3, but it fails on many hunks. Is the patch still necessary for Korean freindly names? Stuart Bouyer
Whitout korean patch, the 0.59.3 gaim work fine with korean friendly name. There is not need korean patch, that make only hucks.. (my gentoo is gentoo 1.2 ppc)
I'll close thsi bug then. Thanks
