Description Conrad Kostecki gentoo-dev 2018-03-06 12:24:47 UTC
Hi!
I am not sure, if this is the right place for a ticket. I've submited an eBuild via PR on Github and the Gentoo CI had a run.

It reported an error:
unknown restricts: preserve-libs

So far fine, but "preserve-libs" is still listed here as a valid value:
https://devmanual.gentoo.org/eclass-reference/ebuild/index.html

Conrad

Reproducible: Always

That page is auto-generated straight out of man 5 ebuild. I see a few suspicious things there, so CCing portage team for comment.
Comment 2 Tim Harder gentoo-dev 2018-03-06 14:57:29 UTC
This is because Gentoo CI uses pkgcheck which is based on pkgcore that doesn't support all the RESTRICT values portage has added over the years that aren't specified in PMS.

Closing this, I don't know it it's still relevant. Feel free to open.
