Recent installation ISO used for amd64 architecture (install-amd64-minimal-20171228T214501Z.iso) doesn't contain 'nano' executable. More specifically image.sqashfs within the ISO doesn't contain such executable. Steps to reproduce: 1. Boot the mentioned ISO image 2. Tty to execute 'nano' editor from shell Result: bash: nano: command not found
We've confirmed that nano is being depcleaned at the end of installcd-stage2 run. We're going to add it to the installcd specs to avoid that.
It should be fixed in the last amd64 ISOs following a change in the spec files[1]: [1] - https://gitweb.gentoo.org/proj/releng.git/commit/?id=4ee90d795db8ed83dd117f45c14fa4a7b4b6d2d5 http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/amd64/autobuilds/20180109T214501Z/
