Also, upstream has a python3 branch, packaged by AUR: https://github.com/masmu/pulseaudio-dlna/tree/python3

Debian/Ubuntu, Kali, openSUSE(Packman), they're already packaging a python3-based snapshot instead.

we have the python3 version packaged as 0.6.0_pre20200114

what specific dep is the problem?
