Looks like the directory disappeared from the upstream server some time in 2003. The last version on archive.org is this: https://web.archive.org/web/20030407163541/http://www.xmms.org:80/files/Skins/ A related question is if we are allowed to mirror these themes. I see licenses only in very few of them: Cobalt: GPL-2+ ColderXMMS: may qualify as "freedist" eMac-XMMS: GPL (no version) GTK+: GPL (no version) HeliXMMS: GPL (no version) minEguE-xmms-v2: GPL (no version) Plume-XMMS-v1: GPL-2 For all other themes I cannot find any information about the conditions for distributing them. So we would need mirror restriction, but that may be difficult if the files are no longer available upstream.
