Since we now have 'zfs allow' and 'zfs unallow' zfs will be used by various users. Some commands like 'zpool status' and 'zfs list' are allowed per default for all users. Please install zfs and zpool to /bin/ so that it is in $PATH for normal users.
there was a change in baselayout recently, ROOTPATH and PATH got merged, so users can call zfs by default without any modifications, because /sbin is in regular users' PATH.
It works in bash fair enough. I didn't realize it, since I use fish as my interactive shell. But since most users will have bash anyway and people who use non-Bourne shells probably know what they need to do to set a different $PATH I'll close this report.
