I've got "libavcodev may be vulnerable or is not supported, and should be updated for play video" message, when I'm trying to play any mp3/mp4 file with firefox. In dev console it prints "The video on this page can’t be played. Your system has an unsupported version of libavcodec". URL for example: http://i.imgur.com/GRARvMG.gifv

But it's not true, I have recent versions of all packages. I've searched how to fix it in google and this bugzilla, but I haven't found anything gentoo-related. Also I've tried to test an empty firefox profile, but got the same issue.

I fixed the issue by removing the libav and installing the ffmpeg package. So you could close the bug, if you want.

Please feel free to reopen and update any bug report that can be duplicated with current esr builds, 60.x. If you feel your feature needs to be re looked at in any of these bugs reopen and update, please attach patches when appropriate. Thank you Mozilla Team
