https://qa-reports.gentoo.org/output/find-binary-files.txt reports: media-libs/raspberrypi-userland/files/wayland-wsys.patch: inode/x-empty; charset=binary (size=0) Looks like this was unintentional. At least in the leio overlay where the file originates from (see bug 499768 comment 8) it has size different from zero: https://gitweb.gentoo.org/dev/leio.git/plain/media-libs/raspberrypi-userland/files/wayland-wsys.patch
I didn't put those patches into main tree on purpose, only touching my overlay as the pkg-config stuff was problematic back then. Not sure who or why added this to main tree, but without any patch content (think we figured it out on IRC with ulm back in Feb though). I believe that given the VC4 stack, these patches are not interesting for main tree at all by now and any rpi gfx work for main tree should really concentrate on a mesa[vc4] based thing.
The empty file was removed in 2017 already. Closing. commit 9d3fc9e26bf37065b6a435e233a105b34a14184a Author: Patrice Clement <monsieurp@gentoo.org> Date: Wed Jul 19 10:03:53 2017 +0200 media-libs/raspberrypi-userland: remove empty file. Package-Manager: Portage-2.3.6, Repoman-2.3.1
