configure: error: Package requirements (ck) were not met:

No package 'ck' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables CK_CFLAGS
and CK_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

Comment 1 Michael Weber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2017-01-29 11:03:37 UTC
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/ck.pc is installed via dev-libs/concurrencykit, which is listed as DEPEND of app-benchmarks/sysbench-1.0_pre20170122.
Comment 2 Tomáš Mózes 2017-01-30 08:36:14 UTC
Hello Denis, as Michael mentioned, dev-libs/concurrencykit is needed. Do you have it installed?
Comment 3 Denis Descheneaux 2017-01-30 10:16:31 UTC
No i ddid not have it installed, now just emerged the package and it did not ask me for the package....

Installed manually via a --oneshot: dev-libs/concurrencykit

It was not installed before, i then installed the latest version of sysbench and it went though this time
Comment 4 Tomáš Mózes 2017-01-30 12:11:09 UTC
Maybe you installed sysbench with nodeps, because concurrencykit is really a dependency of sysbench. Thanks for testing, glad it works for you.
