After several years of inactivity, it appears that development as resumed on ucon64.  Would be nice to get the latest version in portage, which is currently 2.0.2, released on 02/27/2016.

I poked around at it a bit, but had trouble getting the new version built.  Seems to be related to zlib.  I tried porting over the existing zlib patch, but something's still failing in libdiscmage/misc_z.c, causing stuff like this:

misc_z.c:81:23: error: ‘gzFile’ undeclared (first use in this function)
       while (!gzeof ((gzFile) file))

No urgency (obviously), but wanted to get it on someone's radar.  Considering how long the project had been idle, it no surprise that no one's noticed the new version.
