The software isn't bound to the service! I've been already using gogoc with a different broker than gogoNET for months!

Yes, it is a TSP client, but still aimed at freenet6 connections, and no upstream updates since 2010 (and no website for it, as it was removed at the same time). Without a new home to integrate compilation and security patches, fix configuration and documentation, update the template scripts, maybe even make a nice build system, … sadly I do not have the time personally to keep it in decent enough condition in Gentoo (especially as I have not used it for years now). But who knows, maybe this closure will cause a new/updated TSP client to appear (from a quick Internet search, other TSP clients are as abandoned as gogoc6)
