Thanks for your bug report.

That said, I don't have any systemd install and don't have the resources to build one either. If you can provide a patch which does not break the current behavior for non-systemd users then I'll definitely have a look at it.

x11-misc/light-locker: Support >=systemd-209

Currently, emerge fails on configure phase saying below:

> checking for SYSTEMD... no
> configure: error: Systemd support explicitly required, but systemd not found

light-locker is depending on libsystemd-login. This library is, however, merged
into libsystemd as of systemd 209.

This patch fix configure.ac to refer libsystemd instead of libsystemd-login.

Comment 7 Denis Dupeyron (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2016-09-13 02:13:44 UTC
Yuki,

This patch requires running xdt-autogen which is a mess. Instead I have created a patch which does not require that. However, I have verified that it does not break behavior with openrc but I can't verify with systemd. Would you please test light-locker-1.7.0-r1 to verify this? The ebuild is masked for testing so you have to unmask it as explained in [1].

Thanks for your help.
カルちゃん。

I'm able to install the package on my systemd system with the light-locker-1.7.0-r1 ebuild.

Works fine here.
