@Leonid, you can try and remove the build flag in the following way:

IUSE="-systemd" emerge -a =mate-extra/mate-screensaver-1.10.2-r1
Comment 3 OzTiram 2016-06-09 10:46:08 UTC
I meant USE (not IUSE)

USE="-systemd" emerge -a =mate-extra/mate-screensaver-1.10.2-r1
Comment 4 Adam Feldman gentoo-dev 2016-06-17 18:38:47 UTC
Looks like they updated the configure.ac check between 1.10 and 1.12. I'll see if I can get a patch out this weekend.
Comment 5 Adam Feldman gentoo-dev 2016-06-27 21:33:01 UTC
Can you please try the 1.10-r2 from the gentoo-mate repo and confirm that this fixes the problem?

Thanks.

it still fails to emerge
Comment 7 Adam Feldman gentoo-dev 2016-07-10 01:45:45 UTC
What version of systemd do you have installed? I cannot reproduce with systemd-226-r2 or systemd-218-r5.
Comment 8 Adam Feldman gentoo-dev 2016-07-19 06:02:16 UTC
Works for me, and not enough info provided to reproduce

it seems to be ok now
