Description Davide Pesavento gentoo-dev 2016-06-08 16:29:34 UTC
Qt5 has been stable on hppa for about 3 months now. The qt5 USE flag however is still under a global stable mask. I believe it's time to unmask it.

The only two problematic packages are wireshark and qtcurve, which require qtmultimedia:5 and qtx11extras:5 respectively. Neither is stable on hppa. I already filed bug 585228 for one of the two, but I dunno if you really want to stabilize those qt5 modules just for one package each that needs them.

The commit in $URL assumes you don't want to stabilize the modules, and locally masks USE=qt5 for wireshark and qtcurve. Feel free to merge it if that's the way you want to go.

@hppa, ping. We will merge this in 7 days if we do not get any reply.

If it's just those two packages, then that work is done already.
