Version 0.10.1 has been released with some modifications in Makefiles. refind-install is also now link-proof and so should not require patch anymore. I am currently working on a patch for this version.
Created attachment 420874 [details, diff] Version bump to 0.10.1 I did not use modifications proposed in patch (https://566930.bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=420790) from bug #566930 as compilation is then failing in my computer.
My testing of the ebuild included in attachment 420874 [details, diff] builds and installs successfully as is. I also attempted merging the patch in attachment 420790 [details, diff] but encountered a build failure as mentioned in comment 1.
Basic run-testing of the built EFI binaries also works fine for me. Did you want to commit this as-is, or rather wait until bug 566930 is resolved and the build failure it introduces with this version can be resolved?
As per discussion with Stéphane this can wait for a little while while bug 566930 and the build failure it introduces with this version is resolved.
Version 0.10.2 has since been released. I am currently waiting on more information for bug 566930, so am inclined to get 0.10.2 into the tree now and retroactively applying any fixes introduced by bug 566930 when it appears.
Created attachment 425274 [details] refind-0.10.2.ebuild This is the ebuild for 0.10.2. It is mostly based on attachment 420874 [details, diff] with a slight fix - if no drivers are built, installation fails. This resolves it by checking whether the 'drivers_${arch}' directory exists first.
