Please add a PReP kernel to the PPC LiveCD for us Old-Skool RS/6000ers.

You'll need to compile in the kernel boot params (there's a special option in there for PReP kernels).  I'd recommend tacking on console=ttyS0 too.

Then your mkisofs command will need a -prep-boot <file> option added.

Do you need a kernel config?  I can provide mine as soon as I get a workable 2.6 kernel.

This will be in 2004.3. I should have a beta out somewhere this week. Please give that a try.

Unfortunately, my 43p fried.  I posted a request to the PReP Linux mailing list asking someone there to test the LiveCD.

My 43p is in mint condition, but my bandwidth doesn't allow for a full download of the LiveCD... If we need to test this in preparation for 2005.0, I'm willing to experiment, but I'll need someone to mail me a CD, I'm afraid.
