Anything beyond 3.18.7 (which was rightly marked stable) that is currently in the tree is unusable for HPPA. Among the newest releases in the 4.1 branch may be something we could call stable but that is blocked by bug #518460, mainly local-shmlba.patch.
I guess stable keywording was erroneously carried over to newer releases in the same branch(es)? I guess it was easier than having people test stuff. I have dropped everything 3.18 and over to -hppa until this is resolved.
Not sure what this bug is for. Seems more like a comment. An answer to a question I asked many days ago in a different bug. Anyways, if hppa is this messed up, please open a bug for upstream.
Please open a bug upstream and post the bug url here. Please provide the relevant data there. Thanks.
It's already fixed upstream, but we can't have that kernel because it introduces incompatibilities with glibc. Now please stop closing this bug.
Fixed in 4.5.0 and up. I'd still need to do UP testing on the C3750 and B160L for good measure. Maybe someone else can help out? hake should be similar enough to my C3750.
i'll update hake to 4.5. the release images are built on there now right ?
