genkernel-next (/usr/share/genkernel/gen_initramfs.sh hard-codes the inclusion of /lib/systemd/network/99-default.link in the initramfs. However, systemd installs that file as /usr/lib/systemd/network/99-default.link: $ equery belongs 99-default.link * Searching for 99-default.link ... sys-apps/systemd-219_p112 (/usr/lib/systemd/network/99-default.link) Perhaps gen_initramfs.sh should be changed to refer to the correct location (although its absence in the initramfs doesn't appear to be problematic)? This would avoid the following noise from a kernel build: cp: cannot stat ‘/lib/systemd/network/99-default.link’: No such file or directory * cannot copy /lib/systemd/network/99-default.link from udev Reproducible: Always
I get that error.
is this valid with version 64?
(In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #2) > is this valid with version 64? Using version 64 genkernel.log has: >> Appending udev cpio data... * cannot copy /lib/systemd/network/99-default.link from udev
Try then to report it directly to upstream: https://github.com/Sabayon/genkernel-next/issues Thanks
