Until now i did not get any response from irtrans about providing a new server source package. A part of the irtrans server is closed source the x64/ccf.o is provided as is onyl one woraround for now ist compileing irtrans with a gcc older 4.4
or you could compile it statically ...... append-flags -DLINUX -DMEDIACENTER append-ldflags --static ...... in the ebuild
Fine. Can you provide a complete diff -u patch dor the ebuild and I can test and commit.
the assinged ticket containes the correction and some other improvements
(In reply to Mario Fetka (geos_one) from comment #4) > the assinged ticket containes the correction and some other improvements I cannot find reference to such a ticket. I cannot act here.
Bug number 360945
I have bumped to -6.09.04 however it is not clear if the irtrans-irserver-6.03.09.ebuild warrants fixing. *irtrans-irserver-6.03.09 (29 Mar 2011) now makes just > 4 years. I suggest it be purged, complete with patches, in favour of the freshly updated -6.09.04. While I think of it, do you wish to have this package made stable by arch teams?
makkenig it stable is a bad idea as upstream just don't react on requests. ist enogth that it is in the tree
