even after an hour still not ready:

A couple of kilobytes per second, indeed. And with RESTRICT=mirror.

Why is that RESTRICT=mirror in place anyway? It's GPL-2 according to the LICENSE.

    net-mail/mhonarc: Version bump.
    
    Remove unneeded mirror restriction (code is GPL-2).
    Add patch from upstream bugtracker for compatibility with current perl.
