media-sound/ardour-3.5.403 was built with the following:
USE="debug nls sse (-altivec) -doc -lv2" ABI_X86="64"
CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -march=core-avx-i -ggdb -g -lboost_system"
CXXFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -march=core-avx-i -ggdb -g -lboost_system"
Comment 1 Andreas Schürch gentoo-dev 2014-12-16 20:27:35 UTC
Hi,

does it work for you without the USE="debug"?
Comment 2 Samuel Loewen 2014-12-17 17:29:20 UTC
No, it doesn't, but it isn't the same bug.
Comment 3 Andreas Schürch gentoo-dev 2014-12-17 20:25:34 UTC
Hmm...
It also segfaults here ith debug enabled, but works otherwise.
Do you like to have the debug flag to find the other issue!?
Otherwise i tend to just mask the useflag until i find the time to look into it further... Currently my notebook is overheating heavily and i need to place it outside to compile things like ardour! Luckily its winter! ;-)
Feel free to add another bug for the other issue...
Comment 4 Samuel Loewen 2014-12-17 23:41:59 UTC
I don't particularly need the debug flag right now.
Comment 5 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2018-03-01 10:27:37 UTC
is this working with 5.12 version?
