pym_paths patch

This defines pym_paths in the same way as usr/lib/portage/bin/ebuild-ipc.py
Comment 2 iloveosxzfs 2014-10-04 20:36:34 UTC
I ran into the same issue today. The patch I have attached seems to resolve the problem.
Comment 3 Benda Xu gentoo-dev 2014-10-05 02:32:14 UTC
I have met with exactly the same problem. The etc-update is also affected.
Comment 4 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2014-10-05 07:27:22 UTC
I already pushed a patch to fix this, but didn't re-release. Seems there is no gitweb whatever available atm to link to the commit. Due to other problems, it seems better to mask 2.2.14_rc1.
Comment 5 iloveosxzfs 2014-10-05 09:38:40 UTC
@grobian, are you referring to the case-sensitivity issue or something else?

I'm referring to the pym_paths problem. The case insensitivity thing I'm planning ot fix by merging Zac's patch.
Comment 7 Christoph Junghans (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-10-19 19:26:12 UTC
I can confirm this issue. Patch works.
Comment 8 Justin Lecher (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2014-11-11 16:03:40 UTC
gcc-config doesn't work because of this. As a result any scons based build fails.
Comment 9 Fabian Groffen gentoo-dev 2020-12-14 19:14:29 UTC
this works in 3.0.12-prefix
